ABOUT ME

To introduce myself,I am Raja.Live in India's eastern most city of Calcutta..a few hundred kms away from the famous "Sunderban Deltas" on Bay of Bengal...A Private Banker by profession I am also a Consultant who extensively helps MNC's set up buisness in South East Asia.

Keeps on hopping to new cities,meet new people,soak myself in the sun of new culture & lifestyle.

Nothing comes easy when describing self.

Just grown a year older...from 37 years to 38,I have an open mind to see more and learn more. Always love escaping from my regular schedule and do things off-beat.

Extreme adventure loving person with lot of risk apetite!!

Love to risk a small boat on a dangerously wild sea,have explored hidden coral islands and pristine beaches, Un-earthed habitat amongst un-spoilt mangrove forests.

Love jungle treks,learning new cusines,getting the warmth of friendship which is completely un-conditional - " I need this badly at this moment" and sharing lot of my learnings and experiences and making great friends across all geographies !!!

Hate hipocracy and lies.Thats me in a corner as of now!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Just living is not enough.We must have sunshine, freedom,and a little flower in our lives.I hope life isn't a big joke,because I don't get it.Life is like a blanket too short. You pull it up and your toes rebel, you yank it down and shivers meander about your shoulder; but cheerful folks manage to draw their knees up and pass a very comfortable night.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am planning of a Round World Trip on a Solar Powered Vehicle, to promote Clean and Green Energy usage and create conciousness on Carbon Emmission. Thats why I began to think about couch surfing.I am pretty impressed by the project.I will host people as soon as I get a request.I would like to meet more and more people across the Globe:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was literally in the mid of a sea storm in a small fishing boat...my fisherman friend fell into water....we had no life jacket.....every second I remember being tossed like prawns over cooking flame...we held onto a thick nylon fishing ropeline for hours.....

Teach, Learn, Share

Would love to teach people the art of Yoga..a secret ordeal passed on to disciples by Gurus from ages.Would like to learn Spanish,Italian,Russian and French!!!

Would like to share my experiences of life...should anyone make his/her life, my day is done.
