I am a college teacher. Love to research (aquatic ecology), & love to travel; but traveled mostly within India, my country. India is like a continent and you get to see and learn many different things. I am not finished with India..... that is simply not possible........ India is huge...... Outside India: Once in 2001, I went to Nepal (Dhulabari) with my Ph D guide for some shopping. Indians do not need any permit to go to Nepal, nor any passport checks.... so it was as if, I was moving within India....... In 2014, I went to Turkey in a conference in Trabzon and was amazed with the experience. Turkey is really a wonderful country, that I have visited 4 times (including 2 transit stoppages in Istanbul with transit visas) & I would love to visit again. So is Serbia, where I went in 2015. From then on, it has been Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Hongary (and Switzerland: Lucerne and Zurich in transit). Now, I feel that I am more enthusiastic to travel and visit new places- and would love to share my experiences with anyone coming to India, particularly eastern India, and be good guide for them.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
