About Me
Hello! I'm a Bay Area native currently residing in Boston as a graduate student at Harvard University. I love exploring new places and restaurants and have an insatiable thirst for travel. Some hobbies while traveling include getting lost and finding myself in places I shouldn't be in, discovering new foods I'm allergic to, and of course making new friends. Some favorite travel destinations of mine include: Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, England, and India. A few travel destinations I'm hoping to explore soon: Turkey and Bali!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting locals and truly believe the best way to travel is through the eyes of a local. I also love meeting new people and showing visitors around! I love the spirit of the people on Couchsurfing. As a new member, reading people's profiles here has reminded be how warm, open, and hospitable humans can be, particularly in the new digital age. The hosts I see all feel like friends who I haven't met yet.
I hope to meet amazing people surfing, broaden the range of my experiences, experience other cultures authentically and respectfully, and to return the favor to those visiting San Francisco or Boston. This site has inspired me to participate in the "true" sharing economy, one that is independent of how many resources one has, where the transiency of life is fully understood, and where the only currency is care for one another.
