ABOUT ME

I like to meet new people, that's for sure. I'm very curious about everything, life, science, langages, everyday life abroads, reading, music, partying, drinking, eating, cooking, sports, video games, movies, you name it! If you can welcome me and share a bit of your life with me, we'll be friends! I'm not the invasive type, very respectful: in Rome, do as the Romans do! But I'm sure we've got a lot to learn from others. I'm a teacher but I don't like to lecture, rather to listen. Do you want to know more? I'm engaged and my fiancee and I will be soon pretty hapy but exhausted parents of a new born child to come in October, but that's cool: he'll come with us around the world when the time comes. Since then, I roam the globe, without my sweetheart who doesn't want to take chances with her pregnancy, but she'll be able to join soon!

PHILOSOPHY

We're on earth to enjoy and participate. These are the two sides of my philosophy. I'm an epicurist and I like to take advantage of the pleasures on body and soul; this is rather individualistic, but I also participate and contribute to a collective effort to make things better. I teach my pupils everyday to share and collectively contribute, I do all I need to do to lower my eco print, I look for the best solution for all parties.
I'm very interested in the way religions deal with these values. Collective contribution is written behind every sacred text, and it's a real pleasure to chat with someone who can show it to you. As an agnostic I cannot be enlighten by the presence of God in my soul, but His presence in the hearts and actions of belivers conforts me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Lynch, Eastwood, Woody Allen, Leone, Coppola, Guy Richie, Kubrick, Cantet, Michael Moore; I recently saw Bronson: go for it! No good books for a while but good comics: from Watchmen to MardiGras-Descendres (google it!), the manga Monster, Carmen McCallum, Aldebaran, Garulfo, Sky Doll, Universal War One (yeah, I like comics). Music: I dig movie music (John Williams) but also funk, metal, electro. Video games: I like FPS but I'm on GTA4 these days.

I'm a math teacher. Yuk! I'm good at english (I teach maths in english twice a week) and I also teach cinema. I'm good on the history of cinema, video games, sience in general. Teaching is my job, so I can help you ... or shut the fuck up and drink a pint!
