ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a really chilled out guy with a laissez-faire attitude to life.I work full time as an acoustic engineer. I spend most of my time listening to music and cooking. I enjoy a massive array of music 60's garage, psychadelic 70's rock, weird, library music, funk, disco, boogie, soul, film scores, hip hop, jazz, electronic, chicago house, detroit techno.. Anything with soul. I also dabble into electronic music production in my spare time. Awesome things I like are music (see above), architecture, wandering around and exploring cities, reading books, eating amazing food (especially cheese), drinking amazing wine and whiskey. I enjoy the latter most with interesting people and interesting conversation. Basically I enjoy the finer things in life.

Spent the whole of 2011 travelling and surfed with some rad people. Now it time to return the favour.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Don't watch to many movies but I like all Coen Brothers and Roman Polanski films. All the Bond movies even though I havent seen them all.

Music: Funk, soul, hip hop, jazz, electronic, chicago house, detroit techno. If its got soul or a catchy rhythm or even better - both! I will like it. Some cool labels I like: Melting Pot, Stones Throw, Tru thoughts, Eglo, Brownswood, Asthmatic Kitty, Jazzman, Trax, Blue note, Numero, Transmat, Daptone Records the list is endless....

Books: Non-Fiction > Fiction. Going Solo, On the Road, Life of Pi, In Xanadu. Favorite books are the books that inspire me to go adventuring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking through the Himalayas and ridiing mini horses in the snow in the Altai mountains in Mongolia up to the Mongolian, Russia, China, Kazakhstan border.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can make cheese with me - although it is a very slow process. You can make electronic music with me and my drum machines Try me.
