About Me

I'm an easygoing person who thrives on connecting with new people and lending a helping hand. I have a passion for singing, dancing, exploring on foot, and immersing myself in all forms of art. I share my home with a beloved dog and even an earthworm farm (a testament to my eco-conscious spirit!).

My professional life revolves around an NGO dedicated to ecology, environmental protection, and social integration. However, I embrace a freelance lifestyle, often leading workshops on ecological topics or theater, acting in plays or performing at events, and occasionally capturing moments through photography and short films. I also wear the hats of a couch, philosophical counselor, and pedagogue. From time to time, I delve into tarot card readings and dream interpretations or simply share my music by playing guitar on the streets. My creative pursuits also include writing short stories, poems, and plays.

My academic journey has been diverse, culminating in master's degrees in cultural science, special needs pedagogy, and most recently, coaching and philosophical counseling. My final thesis explored the use of tarot cards in coaching. And if the cards call to you, I'd be delighted to offer a free tarot reading during your stay.

I'm drawn to all artistic expressions, particularly music, visual arts, literature, theater, film, and dance. My intellectual curiosity extends to philosophy (with a fondness for Camus, Kierkegaard, and Nietzsche), psychology, and religions. Spirituality also holds a significant place in my life. I utilize tarot cards to connect with the unconscious, diligently record my dreams, practice meditation and yoga, and maintain a gratitude journal.

Nature rejuvenates me, whether it's the tranquility of forests and mountains or the gentle flow of a river. In cities, I'm captivated by the unassuming corners frequented by locals, and I always make a point of asking my hosts, "What's the most ugly spot in town?" I'm equally intrigued by abandoned and forgotten spaces, finding beauty in their decay.

While I often hitchhike, travel by train or bus, or embark on walking adventures, my preferred mode of transport is simply my own two feet.

I'm disillusioned by the influence of money on our lives and the inequalities it perpetuates. My political leanings align with anarchism, though I'm always open to hearing different perspectives. I strive to live modestly, prioritizing experiences over material possessions, but I'm also generous and find joy in sharing what I have with others.

I have a zest for life, a love for adventure, and an enthusiasm for dancing and celebrating. However, I'm equally content with a quiet evening when the moment calls for it. I enjoy alcohol in moderation and am open to exploring psychedelics.

I'm on a quest to uncover the meaning of life and my place in the world. I'm eager to hear about your personal philosophy, values, and beliefs. I derive immense satisfaction from helping others and am brimming with ideas to make the world a better place.

Let me know if you'd like any further adjustments!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to connect with people from all walks of life, and I cherish every opportunity to meet new friends and help others. Hosting guests allows me to share my home, food, and the vibrant spirit of my city. I love the unique chance to step into someone else's world, see how they live, and explore their city through their eyes and footsteps.

For me, Couchsurfing embodies a return to a fundamental human tradition: welcoming strangers into our homes. This sense of community and openness is something I deeply value. While the Couchsurfing community has faced challenges in recent years, I proudly consider myself an "old school" couchsurfer, dedicated to keeping these traditions alive.

I have countless wonderful experiences through Couchsurfing, and I am always eager to create more. Whether it's sharing stories, exchanging cultures, or simply enjoying each other's company, I believe in the power of these connections to enrich our lives. I'm excited to be part of this global community and look forward to welcoming you into my home!

Interests

I am passionate about love and deeply interested in becoming a better person, understanding myself more fully, and learning to be the best version of myself. I have a strong belief in God and value a personal relationship with the divine. While I don't identify with any specific religion, I am curious about all of them and find inspiration in each, fueling the fire within me.

My interests span philosophy, psychology, history, literature, film, music, poetry, and theater, with a particular passion for philosophy and the arts. I have a deep love for nature and strive to stay connected to it in my daily life. I maintain my own vermicompost with earthworms, and I make my own deodorant and cleaning products.

I aim to live simply, avoiding the relentless pursuit of work and money, so I can focus on exploring and experiencing life in its many forms. Everything fascinates me, and I often find it challenging to concentrate on just one thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I forgot. I have a poor memory, you will need to ask my friends about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm delighted to share everything I have and know with my guests. I can guide you to some of the coolest spots in my area, and you're welcome to use my food, cosmetics, and home amenities. Together, we can make music, sing, or enjoy a friendly game night with board games.

I can teach you how to create your own compost bin with living earthworms, a fun and eco-friendly project. If you're curious, I can also show you how to make balloon animals or offer a tarot card reading to explore what the future might hold.

I'm passionate about philosophy and would love to engage in discussions about philosophy, religion, spirituality, or politics. I gladly share any knowledge I have in these areas. Additionally, if you're interested, we can have a coaching session, as I am a professional coach.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Although I have a small apartment, everything in it is at your service. I can offer you a comfortable bed, and you're welcome to use my guitar, computer, printer, and WiFi. I love sharing meals, so my food is yours to enjoy as well.

I can entertain you with stories, including some thrilling scary tales, and if you're interested, I can read your tarot cards for a glimpse into the future. I'm here to share all I can do, making your stay as enjoyable and enriching as possible.
