About Me

Hi, I’m Punjesh 👋🙏🏼
I’m currently based in Qatar and I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning about different cultures.
By profession, I work as a Maintenance Technician, but beyond my job, I’m deeply passionate about travel, videography, cinematography, and storytelling. I run a travel YouTube channel where I document places, culture, and real experiences — especially here in Qatar. For me, travel is not just about visiting places, but about connecting with people.
I’m also a certified yoga instructor, and whenever possible, I enjoy sharing yoga, meditation, and positive energy with others. I believe in simple living, meaningful conversations, and mutual respect.
As a guest or host, I’m clean, respectful, open-minded, and easy to get along with. I enjoy conversations about travel, life experiences, culture, food, and personal growth. I truly value the spirit of Couchsurfing — connection over comfort.
Looking forward to meeting kind souls from around the world and creating beautiful memories together 🌍✨ 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Music, Movies, and Books

Kisi ki muskurahaton pe ho nisha, aur jyadatar mai Mushaira sunta hu

I studied only the books taught in school. After that, I bought one or two more to read, but I could never really get into them. Even now, I have a poetry book by Raghuveer Ji in my bag — it travels with me from place to place, and I still don’t know when I’ll actually read it. I prefer learning by observing — watching people, watching life — that stays in my memory much longer and becomes a part of me.

When it comes to movies, I like horror, suspense, and zombie genres. Besides that, I enjoy comedy shows too. I’ve watched almost all Hollywood movies. Back in my childhood, I used to buy DVDs that had five movies on one disc — I would watch them all night until I finished them.

Even now, I still love movies. Whenever I get time, I make sure to watch one. Apart from that, I’ve also done theater — and it’s always been my dream to work in movies someday. Let’s see if life takes me there or not. 🙏

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In ladakh I camped near Pangong Lake amazing day

Teach, Learn, Share

Stay happy in life — life gives us plenty of chances to cry. Since we only get one life, we should live it as if there’s no tomorrow. Live in the present and live it fully.

On a journey, how do you keep yourself motivated to move forward? By learning something new from every person you meet, by wandering alone through the mountains searching for your own path — that’s the real lesson.

Once, I went camping alone in Rohtang. The temperature must have been around 2° or 3°C. It was freezing at night. As evening came, everyone packed up and left, and I was the only one who stayed behind. Somehow, I managed to spend the whole night inside my tent, treating my sleeping bag as my only companion.

In the morning, when I met the shopkeepers nearby, they were talking about how a bear had come during the night — scattered their things around, eaten some, and thrown away the rest. I could still see the mess, the bear’s droppings, and its footprints all around.

Right then, I prayed to Lord Bholenath and said, “Thank you, God, that I’m still here to witness this scene. If it weren’t for your grace, I might not have been alive to see this morning.”

At that moment, one thought echoed deeply in my heart — live while you can, because who knows if there will even be a tomorrow. 🙏
