ABOUT ME

All about us...long story, but the short version is that we met on Match.com...yup, an actual success story. We are currently living our dream (well, sort of..if we didn't have to work our dreams would be fulfilled!!) We live on 80 secluded acres of land in a log home that we've built ourselves..okay, we didn't cut down the trees but that's the only thing we didn't do. We rescue dogs and usually have a whole bunch of them at our house but we also have a kennel so it's a very controlled environment. We have a small hobby farm with goats & chickens. Our place is comfortable, relaxing & quiet with a nice bar area that we call "The Purple Monkey Saloon". We love to travel & scuba dive as often as we can and love to meet new people that are fun & outgoing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to couchsurfing...love the idea. My husbands family had "couchsurfers" years ago...they probably called them something different "way back then" but the idea is the same. Love the idea of sharing experiences with others that enjoy some adventure in their lives.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet..hope to have some soon though.

Interests

Scuba, learning interesting & fun things, exploring the world. We don't sit still much...we don't wanna miss anything :) We'll sleep when were dead!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing we've done may be considered small by many, but to us, it's something that touches our souls and keeps us smiling...that one thing is rescuing & rehoming stray or unwanted dogs. Part of this includes educating the general public about overpopulation of unwanted animals & promoting spaying & neutering of all pets.

We recently were in Mexico & swam with whale sharks (2nd time for us). What a great experience
