Hey there! I'm Qayed , a full-time traveler from Delhi, India, currently exploring the world one country at a time I’m not on a vacation — I’m building a lifestyle around travel, cultural exchange, and learning directly from real people instead of just tourist attractions. I believe travel is not about luxury hotels. It’s about conversations at the dinner table, local stories, everyday life, and shared experiences.. 🎒 My Travel Style Budget traveler Light backpack , Public transport over taxis, Street food over fancy restaurants, Experiences over Instagram Spots , I’m comfortable adapting to different , environments. I don’t need luxury — I value simplicity. YouTube - https://youtube.com/@qayedonbudget?si=APg5q04mF1J0gfTT

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I’m here because I want genuine cultural exchange — not free accommodation. I travel on a budget, but more importantly, I travel to connect. I prefer staying with locals because: I want to understand how people really live. I want to experience neighborhoods, not just city centers. I want to learn different perspectives and ways of thinking. I respect hosts’ time, space, and house rules. I don’t expect anyone to entertain me — I’m independent and can explore on my own.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy a mix of Indian and international music. I listen to Bollywood classics, sufi music, and artists like Arijit Singh and A.R. Rahman. I also like calm instrumental music while traveling. Movies: I enjoy movies that explore culture, travel, and personal growth like Into the Wild and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I also watch Bollywood films occasionally. Books: I prefer books about mindset, philosophy, and self-development such as The Alchemist and Atomic Habits. I like reading about how different people think and build their lives.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I decided to step outside a conventional lifestyle and start traveling independently across countries. Traveling solo taught me how to adapt quickly, manage uncertainty, and communicate with people from completely different cultures. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me more confident and resourceful. (If you want this stronger, you need a specific story. “I traveled” isn’t amazing. Crossing borders alone for the first time, handling a visa issue, navigating a foreign city with no internet — those are stories. Think deeper.)
