My name is Quan, people usually confuses between my name and my surname (Tran). Just call me Quan.

I am an engineer, I was born in Vietnam, my hometown is Hochiminh city.

Now I am living and working in Russia, to achieve the goal in my career and to find out what I want to be in the future.

I can say about myself as a 'workaholic' and I do cooking for relaxing. I usually offer my friends and my colleagues Asian food or some recipes I learned during my part time job in a restaurant/ in a travel trip/ in a special memory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to make friend with people all around the world, to see how the people connect to each other regardless of their languages, their origin, their culture or where you come from.

I do not host a lot because I just work too much and move often. However, if you meet me in the city I am living, I will show you the local stuffs there.

During 2017-2020, I focus on technical books for developing my career : I'm interested in digital technology on engineering. If any guy is the professional user with VR, AR or BIM I'd like to talk about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Wallow in an ice hole at temperature -8 degree in Russia.
-Got bitten by a insect after swimming in a river in Perm, Russia and the injury could not recovered by itself, kept bleeding during 2 months. ( lol, I just remember about some PC game that the assasin character class having that kind of Bleeding skill in my childhood ).
