About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to see as many things as I can with my wife before we have kids and "settle down," or whatever.

ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing, friendly, and enjoy seeing new places! I have been able to travel a little bit in my life, having seen good portions of England, Scotland, Cambodia, China, and Japan. I've traveled extensively in the US. I've even been on a cruise once, so there's that. I like to laugh and joke.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a citizen of a great big world, and I've only seen a small part.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My wife and I would love to get into the couch-surfing community, so if anyone is wanting to visit Lexington, we're about 15 minutes from downtown Lexington, Kentucky.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None at all, yet. My wife and I are very interested in trying!

Interests

I'm a graduate student, so my free time is mostly consumed by reading. Even when I'm not reading for class, I read in my spare time. I'll play FIFA with friends as well. I like to cook and try new food from all over the world. I am also employed at the graduate school I attend in the admissions department.

Music, Movies, and Books

William Fitzsimmons is my favorite musician.

My favorite books are probably the Fellowship of the Rings trilogy by Tolkien, or Hemingway (Sun Also Rises, Old Man and the Sea, etc).

I like lots of movies. My favorite is probably The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled a lot, and one of the neatest experiences I have had was driving from the bottom to the top of the Mississippi River with 3 friends. It was an incredible 2000 mile journey. Abroad, my most memorable experience was probably traveling Japan with my sister.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play a little bit of guitar.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, China, Japan, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
