About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Attempting to think freely and let go!
ABOUT ME
I have just left a wonderful community of folks in Nottingham, UK. Now I am on the road, after spending quite a lot of time in Calais, France.
Into making stuff yourself and making your own stuff happen.
PHILOSOPHY
Connecting with yourself and being present is the key to living a life with justice, integrity and love at its core.
I am currently on the road, who knows for how long, so I cant host anyone cause I have no couch!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Some great couchsurfing times in France with some folks and their super smelly, doggy dog. Have hosted a bunch of people at my place (when I had one) and couchsurfing helped with making some really good friends in Athens too.
Interests
I love cooking and worked until recently in a vegan bakery and food shop. I helped co-ordinate a collective kitchen at The Sumac Centre in Nottingham for a long time, AKA cooking massive amounts of vegan food for hungry folks at a social centre every Saturday. I spend a lot of time thinking about stuff and having converations with others about it, and as a result have come to the conclusion that NOTHING IN THE WORLD IS NOT POLITICAL. This unfortunately often makes me very frustrated but equally motivated to try to change stuff and often results in me being in a lot of very long meetings, or being the one having 'deep conversations' in the kitchen at parties. I like going places by bike. I like playing with the kids in my neighbourhood. Big up Forest Fields Street Play!

Music, Movies, and Books
Can't get enough of John Steinbeck (I'm rationing the books so they last longer!). Also love Salman Rushdie, Martin Amis.., mind's gone blank (where are the women?!). Last book I read was Vikram Seth's 'A Suitable Boy'. 1746 pages long. It was ace from start to finish. For non fiction, I love John Holloway and pretty much agree with everything he says.
Am a huge lover of listening and dancing to music, but don't make it myself. Love all music that makes me feel passion. Answering the question: "what type of music do you like?" is a pointless activity in categorisation
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The experience of living in Croatia, the fallout from a spectacularly failed relationship and going to bed in the arctic circle in midsummer would be to name but three.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Croatia, Finland, France, Greece
