ABOUT ME

I like to experience moments fully and deeply, and think of this life as a dream that is lucid--and if it is lucid, the possibilities for magic are endless and accessible. Magic/beauty-- by the way, I believe surrounds us all the time. I've had too many magical moments to believe in coincidence anymore. I live to create and to express, to feel and to share, to breathe in the drops of joy in each moment, to warm the hearts of others, to dance endlessly, and to help others to dance and heal. (It needs much healing) I absolutely love to dance. I could live my life inside a drum circle. I'm a total gemini, and have interest in a million different things, and express myself in a million different art forms. I ache for constant adventure and so I move in various degrees of the wind. I really might just be the wind. Or get carried away by it frequently. I believe in the power of love, compassion and understanding... these qualities lead to joy and freedom. I believe in letting love overcome fear.

PHILOSOPHY

Let yourself dance. Really, truly, feel the music of each moment. Once yoy allow yourself to dance freely, in whatever way or medium you dance... you feel the love of being alive. Unconditional Love. That is my philosophy. And admittedly, it is not always easy.. If it was, I'd be Buddha, Jesus, A Saint or Spirit Guide by now ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed twice in Ireland. Once in New York City at Ferenz's spot on the L.E.S-- Was a beautiful experience sitting on a NY rooftop with a full moon and the empire sitting visibly behind us. Met some other CSers there and we immediately bonded. All excited to live, to explore, and to share our joy with others.

Interests

DANCING infinitely... bellydancing, drum circles, reggae, good rhythmic vibes, being in nature, meditation, astrology, filmmaking, painting, spontaneous adventures, tarot, chakra balancing,
hip hop, jazz, music from around the world, traveling (obviously), NYC, riding motorcycle, tea, natural medicine studies, bohemia, good conversation,Fairie Festival, Celtic vibes, spiritual discovering, joy, peace, freedom and love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting at the edge of the world in the aran islands. Dancing with gypsies in Galway. Staying at a Buddhist Centre in the middle of nowhere. Underground old school jazz improv sessions in Harlem. Making a feature length film-- to name just a few, life is full of blessings.

Teach, Learn, Share

On a warm July evening in NYC, my friend and I were strolling down West 4th when suddenly we heard the enchanting strings of a sitar. So beautiful was the music, that amongst all the people going past, we sat down on the sidewalk and watched him in wonder. As if it wasn't already beautiful, a Taxicab pulled up alongside. The driver, his worn Indian face smiling big--- leaned out his window and started chanting to the sitar. It was an incredible experience from a far-away world right on the sidewalks of NY. I realized in that moment, that when you embrace magic, you will find it everywhere.
