About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I love this quote by Roald Dahl: “A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.”

It's a reminder to me to always be nice and humble. Nice is very radical! ;)

ABOUT ME

Am currently trying to break out of habitual cycles and try new things! In 2016, I stepped out of my comfort zone by trying out for this DJ contest, by signing myself up for a 10km run, by doing a reverse bungee jump despite being afraid of heights. This is so random, but I love carbs. Bread is AMAZING. I just love the smell and the taste. I love food, and exploring cities via their food scene, and their art, history, and culture, is something I am very excited to do.

Interests

I like trying new cooking/baking recipes. Am also quite the organiser of social gatherings, as I love planning events and getting friends together to have good time and a quick catch up over a nice meal. I love watching movies in my free time, too. Chick flicks, rom-coms, action, thriller...anything but horror and gore!

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, X-Men, Taylor Swift, The Script, Ed Sheeran, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sherlock (the BBC series), Maroon 5... am quite into pop culture, I suppose. I also love instrumentals. 2Cellos & The PianoGuys are amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Singaporean culture! We are very proud of our "street food" and we have a unique colloquial slang called Singlish which I would love to introduce you to.
