About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Traveling trying to find my home...might not be possible for a gypsy soul. Visited and volunteered in 26 countries and 46 states helping out fam all over. I was gifted a fully converted short school bus in Wyoming that's frozen in place for the season so I've been camp host on Palomar mountain for a few months and now I'm in Maui for the next month or so visiting an old buddy and volunteering at a couple of soup kitchens. Would love to meet up with fellow travelers for good conversation or a locals that can point me in a good direction.

ABOUT ME

Ummm... this is a tough one. Bohemian jack of all trades?

PHILOSOPHY

"Music is the one driving force that immediately opens the soul to whatever is being played or sung."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was actually long before this community was formed.
I had the best couch hippy EVER stay with me in my home town of Pensacola, FL. We met at an art festival, and he was traveling with these two girls, that had just left him there! I offered up my couch, and he ended up staying for 2 months! (nothing romantic- he was like a monk or buddhist or something). But anyway, right after he moved in I got very sick, and he took care of me. Cooked all my meals, helped me bathe and everything for like 6 weeks. He literally nursed me back to health. Once I got better he got an offer through a friend of mine, to run a summer camp for children in Arkansas. I never saw him again. Sometimes I think he was an angel or something. Couch surfers can be divine intervention I think!
My favorite experiences so far have taken place in Belize, what a beautiful country and amazing people!!! I was renovating a huge hostel for a friend there where I adopted an ex-pat sailor dude and this amazing chick from Switzerland. They both stayed the whole month to see the project through with me. She was doing her whirlwind world tour. She's a lifelong friend and junior ambassador for her country now, and I can't wait till we meet up again someday, somewhere!
