About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an out going human who loves travelling the world solo and meeting people people along the way. When I was 17 I bought a plane ticket instead of paying for my driving lessons - so I still can't drive which now at age 23 is a little embarrassing. Every year since I have been on a solo trip mostly across Europe and North America.
I am a predoctoral research fellow at Hebrew University studying electoral politics and voting behavior. I love my work and can talk about it for hours, yet I realize the majority of the world has better things to do than listen to me yammer on :). For most of my life I lived in Vancouver, BC which is a beautiful city but I pause before I call it home. Vancouver deeply lacks any culture as its population is both so vastly diverse and completely infatuated with consumerism and self image. However, living in Vancouver has given me the undeniable benefit of seeing some of the most striking views in North America and I pause just before before I say world.
Fun Facts about Me:
1. I travel with a jar of nutella, sirracha sauce in my backpack - Always.
2. I am super clumsy and for someone how has been to over 25 countries I have no sense of direction.
3. I love to cook and one thing I miss most about home is the craft beer
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling solo is super rewarding and in the past I have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of locals (especially in the Balkans). I figure that I would be able to my accidental encounters to the next level by meeting like minded individuals though the Couchsurfing network.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to pretty much all kinds of music, besides country. It just really depends on my mood if I want to blast some Kendrick, chill with some Grimes or sing along to some Blues.
Picking a favourite book is impossible so I am just going to leave you with some favourite authors: Bukowski, Margret Atwood and Alice Munro
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitch hiked from the North to the South of Portugal and it was amazing.
Tallin in the Winter was also beyond special.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will gladly cook for you, share a cocktail and if you're bored and need some entertainment I can serenade you with some horrendous Karaoke.
