I live on a large property in Acacia Hills and have built a cat sanctuary for rescued kittens and cats from Darwin.

IT IS APPROX 45 MINUTES FROM DARWIN AND HAS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT.

Apart from the cats and kittens, the property also provides sanctuary for chickens, roosters, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowl, one very friendly pig and two dogs. I work full time to support the rescues, so I'm always busy, so I do not have time to take people to see Darwin or other things that people often ask.

People are welcome to stay, they need to be prepared for the constant chaos involved with looking after so many animals. The spare room is now dedicated to animals, do there is a very comfy couch in an outside area that's available for sleeping. There is no internet available, unless you can access it on your phone, and mobile reception is limited.

I'm hoping to find people who love animals who would like to come and stay. There are lots of kittens and cats who want cuddling, dogs who would like to play, a pig who likes lots of attention, and lots of birds. Helping out with feeding and cleaning would be part of your stay.
