I've always loved travelling and have aimed to save up for a holiday each summer. I worked on a Game Reserve in South Africa in 2011 and went to India in 2012 with a charity to help with wild animal management, with the aim to ultimately enable both humans and animals to live and work harmoniously together. I thought the travelling bug would leave but apparently it just gets more intense! So now that I've completed my degree in English Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London, I am free and thought I'd take a look at the East Coast! I arrived in the US at the end of July and currently helping at The Ojai Foundation, half an hour from Ventura, where I will be until the end of August. I'm then off to Burning Man with some great people I met in Ojai. After that the adventure really begins and I will be following my nose (and hopefully the wheels of some lovely people) until the end of October when I will eventually say farewell to hot hot Cali and hello to rainy England! Generally I'll have a go at everything and am open to new experiences. I love to cook and potter in the garden as much as walking aimlessly round a city discovering hidden treasures! I also love hiking (the only exercise I don't get bored of!) and I guess I feel happiest when I'm in nature. I hope to say hi in the near future! :D
