Overview
About Me
I enjoy writing, reading, hiking, wandering in cities, talking to strangers, meditating, and learning languages. I'm always ready to laugh. I live in Nairobi, Kenya, and am just getting started as a journalist. Other things I like: caves, rivers, lanterns, Hefeweizen and wheat beer, sitting around fires, banana desserts, sunsets, hot sauce, and dancing (pop, reggaeton, salsa). Hammock enthusiast. Dedicated to the relentless pursuit of adventure.

I'm always excited to get to know locals wherever I am and hope I'll be able to do that through Couchsurfing! I'm about to travel to Istanbul and am looking for local hosts who I can practice Turkish with. This will be my first time Couchsurfing.
