About Me

Hi all! My name is Heather, or Rae.. whichever you prefer. I’m a small business owner, nanny, mum, christian, vegan, houseplant enthusiast, herbalist, independent artist, adventurer, and freelance model. I enjoy simplicity, holistic living, engaging conversations, new experiences, and cathartic music among various other things. I have an amazing group of friends, a supportive family and a life that I am so grateful for. All in all, I’m an open book.. feel free to introduce yourself if you’d like!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a few weeks of vacation coming up in January so I’m in the process of my planning my next trip. With a few places in mind you just might get a message from me, still in the early phases!

Music, Movies, and Books

These lists are quite long, maybe we could discuss favorites over a cup of tea? Maybe a glass of wine?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking Iceland. It was my first major trip and truly a life-changing experience. For two weeks I solo backpacked the southern region of Iceland. Trekking through mountains, rivers, valleys, volcanos, glaciers, and more.. my heart was overwhelmed with contentment, joy, gratitude, bliss and serenity. Definitely looking forward to coming back and exploring more!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides endless life stories.. I’d say authentic company and venturesome cooking skills. Always looking to try something new!

Countries I’ve Visited
