Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Rafa

Interests

I like science, art, natural history, music, landscapes and people. I like living each place as I was from there, not going only to places for turists. I like to meet different cultures and ways of living.
I am planning to make a postdoc in Paris, during 2013-2014 and I would like to make new friends there.
I play underwater Hockey, here in Argentina and I would like to meet people playing this sport all around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I woke up seeing the sunshine and the opening of a cloudy sky that let me see the amazing Machupicchu ruins in the Peruvian forest.

I hitchhicked in a Yacht, and it took me and 3 fiends for free (we did not have money) to one of the most beatufull paradisiac islands of the Caribbean sea, Los roques, Venezuela.. we camped alone in an island for 5 days... it was amazing!

The amazonas forest is amazing when you share it with people that fish, hunt and have lived there very disconnected to our culture and more connected with nature. I stayed for 14 days in the house and helped in the everyday life of native people in the amazonas.
