About Me

I was born in Napoli (Naples, Italy).
Lived there till last October, when I came to the UK to finally experience some nice weather and good food.
I alway liked moving around, and try different things: sailing, diving, writing, drawing, travelling. Now started bouldering!

When I travel I go slow and usually without a fixed plan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using couch surfing some years ago. A friend of mine and I were going to cycle from Amsterdam to Maastricht. Our first stop was Utrecht and we wanted to meet locals people and feel into local traditions, so couch surfing was the best solution :)
And now I got a motorbike and can finally explore this new country, enjoy the countryside.
Meet locals and get to know the little creeks and lovely little spots hidden here and there.

Interests

I think that whatever we do Nature will always exist, but preserving it as spectacular and gentle it is now( or was) is also a way to preserve ourselves, and let our children enjoy the same fantastic world we (should) have. I'm interested in being able to understand if things are worthy their "natural" cost

Music, Movies, and Books

"The Tyranny of Progress just lets you choose to be part of it or to be exploited by it" quot. I don't know who but probably somebody famous has already said it.

There isn't a kind of music I particularly like, unless good music is a kind of music:
Cat Stevens, Queen, Beethoven, Imagination, Lucio Battisti, De André, Bizet...

My favorite book is The Mysterious Island written by Jules Verne, followed by so many books that I often forget them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking in Greece and sleeping one night on a beach of a (thought to be) desert island with a fantastic girl after having dinner with Robinson and Friday (two indigenes who shared their meal with us, seven of us)

Taught English in a rural Guatemalan village

Hiked in the Jungle

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not particularly good at anything, but quite good in many useful things such as replacing lights, painting walls, diving, building guns from pens, criticize, laughing for Chuck Norris Facts and running in the rain. I would be pleased by sharing my knowledge about these topics with you.

I'm going to learn as much as possible from anything happening around me, ranging from strange or normal behaviors to water jetpack and comets
(...and English)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not amazingly cooked Italian food, walks, views, a spin on the bike, friends

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Belize, Croatia, England, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Italy, Spain
