Overview
About Me
I am a Tunisian student at the University of Chicago. I grew up in the wonderful city of Carthage right outside of Tunis. II also lived in South Africa, Hong Kong and France.
I love traveling and discovering new cultures and to share Tunisia with travelers.
I am an avid reader so if we meet, you can bring recommendations with you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that no place is better discovered through the lenses of Locals. I enjoy immersing myself in different cultures and learning from them.
Couchsurfers also tend to be quite open-minded and fun and a pleasure to get to know.
I have surfed with one of my friends a number of times in northern Italy and Southern France but have just recently started using my own profile in South Africa.
I have yet to host anyone, it tends to be quite hard as I am rarely home but you never know unless you try. :)
I have met some pretty amazing people thanks to CS and has definitely made me a much more trusting person.

Music, Movies, and Books
I usually listen to old French music from the sixties from Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens to Charles Aznavour.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming in the Devil's pool in Zambia.
Getting stuck on top of Lion's head as a storm started while I was on the very top.
Biking from downtown Cape Town all the way to Llandudno.
Teach, Learn, Share
Share: Both with hosts and surfers, I can share homemade Tunisian meals, great conversations over a glass of wine, tons of travel stories and book recommendations.
Teach: anything you would like to know about the history and arts of the middle ages. Maybe some French or Arabic.
Learn: About cultures, people, views, languages, art, and music. If you can teach me about some recipes from your country that would be great as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a very good cook and conversationist. I believe in the power of intellectual discourse but I am also very outgoing and can bring fun and joy to your life.
