About Me
CURRENT MISSION
TRAVEL THE WORLD, AND LEARN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!
ABOUT ME
I am kind, and brazen, and outgoing, and happy, and ridiculous, and lovely, and caring, and thoughtful, and able, and rash, and dedicated, and a dreamer, and a pragmatist.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a HUGE eviro/plant geek. That is my life because it has taught me about how everything matters, everything is beautiful, and how everything is one. The most amazing things I have learned, experienced, taught, and felt have been a result of exposure to this amazing thing we all call life, and it has brought to my life a deep personal respect for all things, present and not.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books
Thing only thing that I was allowed to watch when I was growing up was NHL hockey with my dad, and the Wizard of Oz (possibly the greatest movie ever). As a result, I don't know of many movies to watch or like, but as for music, books, and amazing landscapes: Zepplin, Hendrix, Doors, Nirvana, Metallica, BB King, Zero 7, Morcheeba, Thievery Corporation are just some of the things on my computer right now. Favourite books include: Celestine Prophecy, Golden Spruce, Water, anything by William Rees, David Suzuki (ecology writers), Lord of the Rings, Life of Pie, Into Thin Air. My favourite locations thus far: all of Northern India: particularly Pushkar and Rishikesh and Darjeeling, and Dharmasala. Mexico's SW coast is incredible, Costa Rica's south Caribbean coast, Nepal's entire everything: from the terai to the Himalaya to Kathmandhu (and I don't usually like cities) it was great.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most incredible thing... I don't know if I can pick! Northern Lights, I watched from the top of a mountain as the sun as it did a small loop in the top of the sky during summer solstice in the Yukon, the fall colours of the vibrant lichens in the tundra, the Victoria Glacier at the back of Lake Louise as it suddenly calved into the lake, the Ganges River first thing in the morning with a river of colourful saris being washed by thousands of hands.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I've said before, I'm big on plants of every kind: ones that feed and nourish, ones that heal and repair, and ones that allow the mind to explore alternative spaces, although I prefer that the last be done in a spiritual context if possible, versus recreational. I have extensive knowledge of the medicinal plants of Northern and Pacific coastal North America. I also grow my own food most of the year (when I'm not on the move), and could share that knowledge if people were interested. I am kinda stuck with learning how to bend notes on the harmonica rite now, so if anyone wanted to, they'd have a new student in no time!
