Hi, I'm Rainer. I was born in Switzerland and I still live in a rural area between Zurich and Basel. I'm married and I have two adult children and also two grandchildren.
I studied ethnology, geography and history at the University of Zurich. Now I' m teaching geography and history at a grammar school.
In addition to the profession I like cooking on the weekend for friends (Pizza and Paella are my classics!) and in my leisure time I also like to read books certainly also about the spiritual aspects of life.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like the music of the sixties but also modern performers and classic music. Only Techno and Heavy Metal are not my styles.
I prefer documentary films about cultures, nature and social issues. But I also like fantasy movies like Lord of the rings.
