ABOUT ME

I'm very positive, curious and open-minded (I think). I get easily excited about random things and I am one of those people who would be totally up for doing something stupid as long as it promises to be fun (like swinging in the park at night and walking 5 miles to the beach just to feel the sand).

Travelling thrills me. I want to see it all. I try to travel every time I have the time and the money, and I am doing my bachelors in Scotland, went to Sweden for my third year with ERASMUS and I'm applying for PhDs in some other places. At least that's the plan ;)

Oh yes and I do love ice cream!

PHILOSOPHY

My idea is that you should try to make the most of your life by being as happy as you can in any way you wish. I found this song ("Timing" by Kevin Johansen) that impressed me a lot: "If you want to watch the sea, just watch the sea, but do it now" ;)

I can't currently provide a place as my room is pretty tiny, but I would love to meet new people so if you're passing through the burgh give me a shout :)

I am interested in music, movies, books, travelling experience and philosophical ideas about life. Basically, everything out of the mundane everyday life, everything that someone has found amazing.

I am a big fan of films. I can talk about films for hours. To give you a taste of my favourite movies, I like weird alternative movies like 'Mr Nobody', 'The Butterfly Effect', 'The Mullholland Drive', 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind', 'M', 'Buffalo '66', 'The Wall', 'Big Fish', 'Sin City', 'Trainspotting'.I also like movies that make you feel, like 'Dancer in The Dark', 'Hero', 'Arizona Dream', 'American History X', 'Paris, Texas' and many more.I am into music but not as much as I used to be. I still love Radiohead, The White Stripes, Björk, The Cure, Massive Attack, but I have started listening to electro swing and playlists that I don't even know the artist of.I love books but it's more difficult to list my preferences here, because most of the books I've liked have nothing in common. Just to say a few, I love The Little Prince, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Catcher in the Rye and things by Vonnegut or Azimov.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing moments of my life have always been little. I have jumped with a bungee and gone to a last minute trip to two countries all by myself, but these are not the most amazing things in my life. My favourite moments have been waking up in the morning in Moscow, knowing that it's going to be a lovely day of looking about with people I know; going to a lake with my family when I was little, and getting lost with friends in a university building.
