Overview
About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a digital nomad (work remotely) who used to live in Dahab (South Sinai)
Non smoker, casual drinker and semi vegetarian.
I chose an ancient Egyptian name for myself, Ra.mas.t which means Ra ( Egyptian sun god ) brought me [ literally Ra gave birth to me] . pronounced "ra. must".
The name has cultural, historical and scientific value.
1. cultural because its in Egyptian language (not Arabic)
2. historical because its inspired by name of Ramsis (Ra.mas.su) one of greatest Egyptian kings and many kings that followed called themselves after him
3. Scientific because Sun is source of energy for every living thing on earth so technically source of life.
Things I am usually enthused to talk about,
Politics,
Philosophy (all kind of talk about meaning of life, ..)
Science,
Ancient Egypt (Gods, Mythology, Language, ...)
Pets (especially the weird ones)
Favorite quotes:
"Don't take life too seriously; you'll never get out of it alive"
I believe one should enjoy the present and not to care about future at all
This is also part of my believe in Absurdism

I frequently get the question: "You Muslim?" so here is the answer to fullfill your curiosity:
No, I am not. I come from Christian background and currently Atheist
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am trying to meet many locals from the countries I visit to exchange culture and knowledge and most importantly make new friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I learned about this website when I was in Belgium.
I hosted many people during my stay in Dahab, attended my CS events in Cairo (which by the way was fun, you should try it!) and now I am using it to meet up with locals from the countries I visit.
