ENG: My name is Ramiro and I am from southern California in the U.S. Born and raised by immigrant parents, I learned from a young age that one's nationality does not fully define who they are nor should it limit them from what they can achieve. I love making new friends and opening myself to new cultures.

I am currently an independent researcher interested in environmental management and ecological economics. I'm interested in understanding environmentalism across countries and cultures via meeting new people on my travels.

My native language is Spanish, but I primarily use English and Portuguese in my current routine. I love the outdoors and animals (especially cats, and turtles). I am pretty conscious about my ecological footprint and do my best to limit my consumption of resources and production of waste. I don't smoke, and hardly ever drink alcohol.

Nacido y criado por padres inmigrantes, aprendí desde una edad temprana que la nacionalidad de uno no define completamente quiénes son ni debería limitarlos a lo que pueden lograr. Me encanta hacer nuevos amigos y abrirme a nuevas culturas.

Actualmente soy un investigador independiente interesado en la gestión ambiental y la economía ecológica. Estoy interesado en comprender el ambientalismo en todos los países y culturas a través de conocer gente nueva en mis viajes.

Mi idioma nativo es el español, pero principalmente uso inglés y portugués en mi rutina actual. Me encanta el aire libre y los animales (especialmente los gatos y las tortugas). Soy bastante consciente de mi huella ecológica y hago todo lo posible para limitar mi consumo de recursos y la producción de residuos. No fumo, y casi nunca bebo alcohol.
