About Me
Hi guys, I'm Ramona and I'm a Filipina born and raised in Oberhausen, NRW, Germany. I study Sales Engineering and Product Management at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany.
I've lived in Australia for about a year to do a study abroad semester in Brisbane and to explore the beautiful country by work and travel.
I'd say I'm quite easy-going, laid back and fun as I love to meet new people and try new things! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and meeting people from all over the world, so it seems reasonable to me to stay with locals to learn about their city, their culture and their way of life! Who can teach you better than those who live in the place you wanna see? ;)
Interests
Travelling, meeting new people, exploring other cultures, having fun with friends, dancing to nice music, lying in the sun, running, cooking and eating, reading, watching movies, adventures...! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a wide range of music, movies and books!
Movies:
I like
- funny (and sometimes stupid) ones like Horrible Bosses, the Inbetweeners, Tooth Fairy and so on
- comic adaptions like Batman, Spider-Man, Iron Man ...
- mystery/drama/thriller such as Shutter Island, The Prestige, Inception
Tv Shows:
Suits, Lucifer, Lie to Me, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Big Bang Theory, Korean Dramas...
Books:
Nearly everything and anything actually :) from classics like Dracula, over fantasy like Harry Potter to horror like Stephen King's Carrie.
Music:
Depends on the mood I'm in :)
Sometimes I like rock, sometimes it's pop and another time it may be any kind of dance music. Or whatever I find interesting at the moment - at the moment it is K-Pop ♥️
My dad loves music, so he forced me to listen to the bands and artists he likes - therefore I also know a lot of 80's and 90's music 😂
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done definitely is skydiving in Byron Bay! I actually jumped out of a plane, strapped to a total stranger in a height of 14.000 ft 😂 it was as scary as it was fun and I'd always do it again :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd always love to teach, learn and share :)
I don't play an instrument or speak a lot of languages, but I could teach you some German, how to cook a nice (german) meal or how to eat with your hands (that's not as easy as it sounds 😂) or eat with chopsticks (though I am far fom perfect :D), whatever I can do I'll teach you :D
Also I'm also happy to learn new things from you and share experience, fun and laughter :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
In addition to what's in "teach, learn, share" I offer hosts to be fun to be with, to respect their house and home, to keep it clean and to behave as I would want a guest to behave at my place if I offer them my couch :)
