I am a 51 year old farmer who started his farming career in 2015. I want to create a small non profit community of like minded people to become food and energy self sufficient. My goal is to create a community that will change the world one person at a time by living and working within mainstream society, offering healthier food and self sufficient energy solutions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I raised ducks and chickens (at the moment) for both meat and eggs with no formal education in the field. Learn as you go and created/invented all sorts of things to solve problems. Will start rabbits, goats, geese and wild boar and build a sugar shack this summer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A farm experience that is in the process of growing. Need persons interested in organic sustainable ethical free range agriculture to help with sweat and knowledge. Oh and I will include free board with the "room". I have three bedroom house in Valcourt, Quebec to share with anyone who wants to join me.

Because I am 100km or so from Montreal and would be willing to pick you up, it makes no sense for anyone to stay less than a month. That being said I am open to anything you might suggest.
