Overview
About Me
I'm a former high school English teacher in the Los Angeles area. I have taken over a year off from teaching full time to pursue more travel and a new career.
I have spent the last year working on becoming a personal trainer a.k.a. fitness coach.
I'm an avid traveler who has been to 18 countries, mainly in Europe and Central America. I don't want to take pictures of places, I want to meet the people and learn about how they live their lives. I love being part of healthy communities. One of my favorite things to do is travel and volunteer. I also enjoy playing team sports like dodgeball, softball and baseball. I am love to go Salsa and Bachata dancing as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to travel more authentically with the help of local people. I love getting a sense of what it feels like to live somewhere. I'm not the biggest fan of tourist traps or sightseeing.
