I retired from Duke University to deepen my involvement with Ethical Humanism. I accepted a part-time position of Leader (Humanist Minister) with the Northern Virginia Ethical Society. I find working with a humanist congregation to be very satisfying.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I enjoy the experience of meeting new people and learning about other places and other cultures. I am attending a Humanist Conference in Auckland, and want to see more of New Zealand while I am here. I am traveling on a budget and see couchsurfing asa a way to both meet local people and stretch my funds. I have enjoyed hosting couchsurfers in Durham, NC, USA.
