About Me
Female guests ONLY. I'm an Egyptian, 35 yo, single. I'm currently an assistant professor at Ain Shams University, Egypt. My academic website is (http://rania-alsabbagh.com/). I've earned my PhD from the University of Illinios at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA in 2015. So I lived in the US from 2009 to 2015.
I currently live in Egypt with my two rescue dogs that I love the most in this world: Loki and Fofo <3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a host: I'd love to meet new people and help them get around here in Egypt.
As a guest: I think the best way to actually see a country is through its locals. Besides, to be honest, couchsurfing will help me save money and therefore travel the world :D :D

Music:
-- As I said all types of music; like really all types except for metalic maybe.
Movies:
- hmmm, I think I like thrillers and horror movies :D so I would say World War Z, The Conjuring, and many movies for Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks.
Books:
-- رسالة الخروج لفشير It is a novel that discusses the Egyptian Revolution. I love it big time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I've rescued 14 stray dogs from the cruel streets of Egypt and managed to medically treat them and find them very good homes.
- I've earned a full scholarship to the University of Illinois, USA for 6 years to do my PhD
- I've written more than 15 research papers published in international conferences and journals.
What I Can Share with Hosts

- Teaching them how to cook some good Egyptian dishes :D :D
