Music, Movies, and Books

I like the thrill of discovering new musical impressions though I’ve been indulging in a lot of bossa nova lately.

The films of Bergman, Bresson and Tarkovsky have largely influenced me, but I promise I’m totally against art snobbery! 😅

Vian, Proust, Camus, Sartre, Foucault, Dostoyevski, Mishima are all names that spontaneously come to mind, but I’ll feed with anything remotely well written.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Central Asia for a while, developing access to education and best of all, I had the opportunity to teach french and share perspectives with my wholesome uzbek students! 📚

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m actively learning Russian and Uzbek as an intermediate level speaker, along with Italian, Greek and Turkish as a beginner level speaker. (I used to know german from high school, a really dark story but I might recall a word or two…)

I like to learn about everything though, but mostly I’m interested in sharing stories and our relationship to knowledge rather than raw knowledge! 🙂
