Overview
About Me
Hi. I've been traveling to different parts of the world and this time I'm travelling across South East Asian countries for the first time.
I travel by hitchhiking/lift and like to stay with locals. I eat street food or whatever the host offers me and flexible enough to sleep on floor without mattress. In past I got hosted in schools, libraries, orphanages, religious place, health centres, shops, factories, camper vans and also in tents. I'm ok with any kind of sleeping arrangement. In past I got hosted in slums/ghettos and also in big posh bunglows/villas/sky scrappers. My home is in tropics so I'm used to mosquitoes and humidity. Many a times I got hosted by people who gave me a lift or by strangers whom I met somewhere.
I avoid big cities and tourist places. I prefer to stay in villages/countryside/remote areas or small towns. So if you are from a big city but has friends or family in the villages/countryside/remote areas and if they are ok to host me, I will definitely visit them. I don't stay for more than a day or two at one place (I might extend my stay if it vibes with my host).
In my last journey across a few countries I continuously travelled for 300 days and got hosted by around 200 people. I would like to volunteer in farms or any other work if I stay with you.
I will start my journey from Bangkok, Thailand and then explore nearby areas and then cross over to Cambodia. I will travel across Cambodia for a few days then I cross over to Vietnam. I will travel from Ho chi Minh City to Ha noi and will explore the central part of the country on my way. From Vietnam then I go to Laos. From Laos I will then visit Chiang Mai and Northern areas of Thailand. Next I go to southern Thailand and then to Malaysia for a few days.
