About Me

Happy go lucky. I realize the amount of good fortune that has come my way - finding creative ways to give back as much as possible!

My apologies in advance for delayed replies to request. I am not the best at social media platforms of any kind... but I promise I will get back to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is the single most effective way to fight narrow mindness and I like to get myself out there as much as possible. As far as the CS community goes my roommate is a long time surfer / hoster. After hanging out with a number of the travelers that have come through I realized there's no better time than now to start hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Chemical Brothers
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I have a soft soft spot for their noises. I like plenty of other sounds as well.

During my formative years:
HS Thompson style of writing captivates me every reread (for nearly every piece of work.. hard to track down some of his magazine articles).
Tom Wolfe's electric koolaid acid test was a fun one. No surprise made me a fan of Ken Kessey's penmanship.
Terence McKenna's Food of the Gods

More recently:
Ram Dass' Be Here Now and the post 30 year follow up Be Love Now.
Erich Fromm's The Fear of Freedom
Franz Kafka
Paul Graham's Hackers & Painters

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to consider myself an infinite learner. Over the years it has been fun to find new ways to soak up others' experiences. I find verbal self expression to actually be a bottle neck in the exchange of human connection. Showing, teaching, and doing are obviously preferred.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Smiles, laughter, good vibes.

I do not really place a high priority on ingestion of food so I'm not the deliverer of your palate's dreams. But I do like me some piping hot underground dance tunes.
