Hi! My name's Bec. I'm 24, and work as a freelance hair and makeup artist in the film and TV industry in Australia. Being a freelancer doesn't give me a whole lot of spare time (or money)to get to travel, so when I do, I like to make the most of it!!

I love doing the whole touristy thing when I'm travelling, but would be so grateful to experience the 'real' city I'm in.
I'm a huge animal lover, and super interested in getting to experience other cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's my first time on couchsurfing, I thought I'd give it a try because I've heard so many good things!
Myself and my travelling buddy would prefer to experience the world around us and meet new people in their environment, rather than a serviced hotel room...

Interests

I obviously love my job as a makeup artist. I love doing SFX makeup - making people look ugly, or injured....or just something out of the ordinary. I love the outdoors, and going on adventures to new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love 80's horror films. Total Recall is definitely a favourite. But I can pretty much sit and watch anything.
I like any type of music, and really enjoy seeing live bands. I grew up on bands like queen and Led Zeppelin, so classic rock will always have my heart.
I read a lot of scripts haha.....But when I do get to read a good book it's usually a fantasy or crime novel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a great cook/baker! (as long as it's vegetarian haha). I can do their makeup...???
Myself and my travelling buddy are very easy going, clean and easy to get along with!!
