Hi there! I grew up on an organic farm in New Jersey and have thus a deep love of the natural world, plants and animals and landscapes. I am very friendly and love outdoor exploration, helping people and animals, singing and playing ukulele, reading, meditating, walking, yoga and learning from others! I am excited to explore new places and learn from my hosts. As a recent graduate of Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, I'm interested in venturing to new landscapes and making friends and learning. I grew up on a lot of Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Grateful Dead and other old classic '60s music! I love books about nature, novels about animals (e.g. Charlotte's Web, Trumpet of the Swan etc), Buddhist books, mysteries, romance novels and others. I love the movie "Avatar" because of its excellent and meaningful environmental message.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Worked for hours and years on an organic farm Donated all my paychecks to a rainforest protection organization Explored Oakland and San Francisco for 3 days on my own Sang in a choir for 6 years Learned French for 6 years Been an advocate in the WA State government for positive environmental legislation
