Hi! We are Becky and Vinh Loveday-Lam, a British/Chinese-Australian couple who met in Shanghai and after many adventures together have settled down in West Sussex, UK. We now have two children aged 1 and 3. Becky stays at home with the kids at the moment whilst Vinh works in the computer game industry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel and think staying with locals is a unique and special way to visit new places and experience new cultures, for us and for our children.

Interests

I enjoy sewing and anything creative whilst Vinh likes to take courses in astronomy in his free time. We don't currently have a lot of time for our own hobbies but enjoy getting outdoors with the children whenever we can and of course travelling! We are also big food-lovers and always excited to try new cuisines.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy historical fiction, particularly anything related to China, whilst Vinh likes sci-fi, particularly Isaac Asimov. We like a mix of all kinds of movies and music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As well as the language skills we mentioned above we can share food from our cultures with you and if you have children too, we hope they can play together! We can also share stories and travel tips from the many places we have lived in and visited.
