CURRENT MISSION

Community is important to me. I work to expand and improve it. I am just ending a 14-year stint as my community soccer Director. I also volunteer for various music festivals around my area.

I've always had friends in other countries and love learning about the world through them. Getting a true taste of a foreign culture is much easier through a native, so I try to visit them and let them show me around. Always out to make more friends though. It's disappointing when I go somewhere and don't know anyone.

I am a very outgoing professional, easy-going guy, looking to meet others while traveling. 5-10 170 lbs, light hair/blueish eyes. Intelligent, a little shy. I enjoy travel, movies, music, cooking, eating out. Father of four and living in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
I am a 55 years young straight Canadian of German and Mexican descent, a student of the world. The more I get to learn about things around me, the more I realize I know very little.

Life is what you make of it. I've rarely met people with whom I couldn't find something in common.

I've traveled much of my life, staying with friends I have met around the world. Now I wish to try out Couch surfing and host surfers in the future. I've hosted people outside of CS that Ive met in my travels.

To get to know and meet more people from other cultures and to get to know this wonderful place we call earth.

兴趣

I enjoy urban exploration, biking, hiking in the country and mountains.Visiting unfamiliar places. I love edgy films, independent films, foreign films, classical music, creative music, and the arts.

Music: I love music from the 60,s, 70's, 80' and the 90's. Special interest music. Especially Bee Gees, Loverboy, Rush, PinK Floyd, Mercedes Sosa, BobMarley, Santana, Bach, Gershwin, Simon & Garfunkel, Beethoven, Coldplay, Wagner. ect.

Movies: I enjoy foreign films, edgy films Y tu mama tambien?, The Red Violin, Slumdog Millionaire,

Books: Mainly non fiction.

How can you just pick one thing! I have to say Rais 4 wonderful children. 2nd Travelling through Mexico and Central America. Living in a hammock. Just in general, I loved it. The freedom, people, the animals, the cities, everything.

I know a little bit about repairing things: household items. I'd like to improve my German and Spanish, learn better Italian.

The only people than enjoy change are babies.
