COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
let me start and don't clip my wings because of no references ;-)
Interests
*photography; i'm just an amateur photographer, i love taking photos, mainly street portraits of strangers - human faces hide a lot of real emotions. sometimes you can catch it only by one shot, that's so magical! in addition i try to show everyday routine other way and i'm totally crazy about b&w pictures.
*sending and recieving postcards from all over the world; i hate buying souvenirs, instead of wasting time, it's the biggest pleasure to send your thoughts faraway. writing, letters, reviews and journey accounts. at times there's nothing better than a piece of paper and a black pen to set my mind free.
*hitchhiking, because every day on the road is filled with adventures and you never know where's the next stop. unexpectedness is one thing, another? people. i had a lot of possibilities to meet so amazing and generous people.
*translation fields and translation criticism (especially literature)
* after 15 years I'm back to fencing - sabre is my weapon and i will not hesitate to use it ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books
*music is very important part of my life. starting from world music, folk, italian folk and italian songwriter's music, balkan music, leading through soul, jazz and closing with dub or gypsy punk. check my current mood here: http://www.lastfm.pl/user/redddy
*movies, well, there's nothing better than italian neorealism (Bicycle Thieves, Bellissima, Obsession, Mamma Roma, Shoeshine) Kusturica's madness (Underground, Time of the Gypsies, Black Cat White Cat) and alternative movies (Mandarins, Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present, Samsara, The Salt of the Earth, Everything is Illuminated)
*books: Terzani, Tabucchi, Rumiz, Moravia
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Pangong Tso, Ladakh, India '11 thick blankets, sleeping bags, magical russian drink made that night one of the most incredible and one of the coldest in my life; lying on the shore, watching shooting stars. it is said that when falling stars appear whatever we wish for comes true, but in that place my wishlist was still too short!
I've been to Cacém, Portugal '17.
and you, people, the world around, tears and laughs.
Teach, Learn, Share
it looks like i'm not that bad in teaching italian language ;-)
