À propos de moi

I just moved to Lüneburg because I am doing an intern-ship in an ecological architectural practice.

ABOUT ME

I'm an open minded person who's always looking for new experiences. I love traveling, getting to know other cultures and ways of life. I enjoy very much meeting and talking to people from all over the world: Everyone is unique and everyone has a different story to tell. To me, it is very important to not just travel somewhere but to talk to the people actually living there.
Thus, after finishing my studies I plan to do a world trip! I am already looking forward to the moment when I take my rucksack, not knowing what is lying in fornt of me or where I am gonna sleep tonight.

PHILOSOPHIE

I am always trying to make the best out of it, since life is too short to be sad about unimportant things.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, surfing, some couchsurfing activities.

TYPES OF PEOPLE I ENJOY

Open minded and relaxed people. People with a weird sense of humour. Positive people. Independent people. Creative people. People who have dreams. People who want to change something in the world. People who can inspire. Normal people !

Centres d'intérêt

Meeting people, traveling [like probably everyone on couchsurfing], experiencing different cultures, beach volleyball, rock climbing, cycling, reading, sleeping, dancing, (hitch-)hiking, skat, cooking, juggling, sailing, surfing, exploring abandoned buildings, movies and of course music, especially techno/goa/progressive/psy =)

BOOKS

I love reading. When I learned how to read in school, everyday when I came home , I sat down in the kitchen and read over and over again the new words I had learned that day.
At the moment I am reading 'The Dark Tower' by Stephen King. I was very suprised when I heard about this series, especially because it' is fantasy and not horror (I only knew King from 'It' and other books from the horror-genre). I still have 5 books ahead of me, which is quite comforting to know. I always need a lot of time to adopt to knew books with new characters and new settings but know I am safe until some time in the future... =)
Actually I am mostly reading several books at a time: Last week I've read 'the dark side of the moon' by Martin Suter and it was interesting but in my eyes a little bit to dramatic. Suter does a lot of research while writing his books and I ve learned a lot about plants and mushrooms =)

One of my favorite books is 'Lost Horizon' by James Hilton.

MUSIC

I like techno, goa or pychedelic music, especially for dancing but also in daily life. Besides that I like listening to Devendra Banhart, Docteur K, Radiohead and other bands but actually I am not very much listening to music. Mostly I prefer no sound to relax but when I am cooking, doing handicraft or building things I like listening to music or news or audio books.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I saw this year's first sunrise in the mountains in Riesngebirg in Czech Republic, beautiful.
Last autumn we went on a sailing trip and I made lots of amazing experiences: Wales, lots of beautiful sunrises and sunsets and playing a lot of chess ;-) I will never forget the day we had to stay in the harbour of Gedser (Denmark) because there was a storm on the sea!

Hitchhiking from a very little village 1 hour south of Sofia to a little village near to Lüneburg in 1,5 days: I wanted to be on time for my boyfriends birthday, but in the end I arrived only at 4 am =( Well, since he didnt know that I was actually on my way the delay didnt matter at all, haha ;-)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I am very curious and eager for knowledge about basically everything. For example, I would liket to learn how to sew properly with a sewing machine, , proper sailing skills, cooking new dishes or simply how I prevent my Aloe Vera from dying.

I can teach you among other things that just now don't come to my mind: Juggling, reading music, cooking, making jam, hitch hiking, dumbster diving or how to repair your bike. Also I have studied architecture and I know a lot about construction and handicraft. At the moment we are building an ecological garden house (wood construction + straw insolation + clay) in a garden colony in Leipzig. You are welcome to join, learn and help =)

Also, since I am German I happy to teach you some German, haha =)
