Overview
About Me
Hey there :) My name is Rehanon though most people call me Re. I live in very liberal and creative town in the UK called Brighton. I'm a journalist as my job and I've worked in radio, online and magazines. I do it because I love communicating with people, which is also why I love to travel. In my spare time I'm a dressmaker and even made one of my friends' wedding dresses.
One of my other passions is music and I adore going to see bands. I've been lucky enough on my travels to see lots of awesome groups.
I love cheese an enormous amount and hate celery with an equal passion. I'm actually a massive foodie fullstops and that's another reason why I enjoy travelling so much. You get the chance to try all this wonderful food you didn't even know existed.
I’m also learning to dance salsa at the moment and could do with all the practice I can get :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I love to meet new people and I think when you travel to somewhere new there is no better guide than a local. I've had a lot of experience of Air BnB but I hadn't heard about couch surfing until I started travelling central america and I loved the ethos behind it. I will definitely be hosting people when I head home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked out of France and across Spain. It took me a month.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach sewing, knitting, crochet and I'm not too bad at embroidery. I'm currently learning the ukulele but I'm not very good yet so I don't think anyone would appreciate me sharing that with them :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm really happy to do language exchanges if anyone is learning English and even better if they speak Spanish. I lived in Spain a few years ago but I'm a bit rusty. I'm also a good cook and happy to make a meal. Also more than happy to help round the house.
