HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Update 4-3-2025: I emigrated to Bulgaria in October 2024.

My dream is to have a plot of land where I can grow food and be self-sufficient.
I started living in the forest close to Cherni Osam. That was in October 2024. It was very hard living in the forest. I was not good prepared and needed to saw wood when there was much snow around. I got snowed in, needed to walk kilometers to Cherni Osam to do buy food. At night I needed to keep the fire stove going, otherwise I would get up in a very cold room in the morning. In the beginning of February I escaped from the forest and started living in the city of Lovech. I am still dreaming about living in the forest, but I will have to be much better prepared. It was a good experience surviving in the Balkan forest in the winter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Only positive experiences when hosting couchsurfers. In the meanwhile I've had travelers from China, USA, Czech Republic, Slovakia Poland, Swiss, UK and The Netherlands. I helped people finding a job in the Netherlands and I also helped people who ran out of money and needed to survive for a week before going back to the USA.

Music: do not listen often to music, I like chopin, Satie. For dancing trance is nice.

Books: The book of nothing (Osho, with a superb dive into zen-buddhism), Archetypes (Jung), etc.

I have been meditating one time in the burial chamber of the biggest pyramid of Cheops in Egypt all alone ( I bribed the guards when the burial chamber was being restored). It was fun meeting the Spirits of the past.
Staying and sleeping one week in the dessert watching the stars. The stars are so beautiful and bright in the dessert.
Update 4-3-2045: surviving winter in the forest of the Balkan mountains! That's amazing.

I speak Dutch, English, German, a little bit Russian en just started to learn some Bulgarian.
I build the website balkanfrestmen.online, I can build good Telegram information channels, I am not a carpenter but I can build things, I can do a lot. I did a lot of research about the Bulgarian real estate market.
