About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see more of this beautiful world to widen my worldview and to appreciate the difference each individual has. Less judgements, more love.
To spend this life I was gifted by influencing people around me positively. LIFE IS A GIFT.
ABOUT ME
Love traveling. I was born in Japan, moved to Paris when I was three months, moved to San Francisco later on, and moved back to Japan before pre-school. I grew up between SF and Osaka, Japan.
I'm currently studying Counselling Psychology (MA) in Vancouver, Canada.
I grew up in a Buddhist family, became Atheist, then became Christian. After I had a life-changing experience through an accident, I became unsure what exactly religions are and who God/gods are... I guess that makes me Agnostic. Please don't judge me because of my personal religious preference, because I can confidently say I won't judge yours.
I think traveling and meeting local people is the way to get rid of the stereotypes and prejudice you have towards other races, religious members, genders, sexual orientations etc.
I would say I am very open minded, a risk taker (to a certain level), curious about other cultures and languages, adventurous, and I LOVE interacting with people from around the world!! I love sharing my traveling stories with others, and also listening to others' traveling stories.
I used to do classical ballet, but I quit it a few years ago, but I sill love dancing or working out or being healthy!
I recently got into an accident, so I am currently living with a Brown-Sequard type incomplete spinal cord injury. My life was saved, and I am trying to live my everyday positively, hopefully spreading smiles to others.
PHILOSOPHY
"Love your neighbor as yourself"
"True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing"
I love existential philosophy, and dialectical philosophy. Philosophies are so boring learning in classes but so exciting in real life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not done much couchsurfing; however, whenever I do it, I always enjoy it. I acknowledge that every host is different from each other, but I usually enjoy the most when hosts also LOVE traveling and have traveled a lot, so that they are able to share their traveling stories with me as well as I can share mine with them. When I host people, I always try to be a host who is able to to offer not only a place to stay, but also offer some knowledge and experience, because that is what I often enjoy receiving from hosts as a couchsurfer.
