I've been very active all my life. I'm always trying new things and very adventures. I'm an area rep for high school exchange student. I've had numerous students from different countries in my home. I've had kids from the middle east, former soviet union, Asia, Europe, Japan, Thailand. With this I hate being a tourist I want to know what it is like to live in a country or area see and take photos of the local sites not just the touristy site. I have shown a lot of people my country. I've done a lot of road trips with different people and taken pictures of them along the way. I have crossed the USA a few times. I've driven from Washington to tip of the Baja. Gone from So. Cal to though the Circle of fire. I couched surf and camped for 3 months exploring Germany, and Italy. Getting ready to go back for a wedding of one of my students and having a hard time keeping this trip to 3 weeks.
I've a photographer for the last 3 years and having fun turning my hobby into a job. I'm 53 year old married with 3 kids and 1 grandson.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and cultures. I want to get to know your country and not be a tourist. I want to see the local sites and take photos of what your city has to show the world. I've opened my home to so many countries time for me to do what my students have enjoyed.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music, I'm always around teenager so I tend to listen to the latest style of music. I will say I'm not found of east coast rap or elctro music. Movies I like romance movies not into violent movies.
Books I don't have, to much time for books. One of my favorite writers is Barabra Wood she brings the past to the future. One of my favorites is the Green City in the Valley of the Sun. I did finally get to meet her in person I was so excited.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done. People are amazed what I can do. I'm a property manger I have taken and gutted a houses down to the studs and re-do the whole house. They have a hard time believing a woman can lay tile, hang doors, roof a house, I have a old log cabin in Crescent City. Everyone asked when I was going to tear it down. It was built in the 1800. It has a steep roof. I climbed up on the roof and had to knock down the smoke stack. My neighbor called my husband which was in So. California and said do you know where your wife is. I'm very proud of that house and now the neighbors are happy I did not tear it down.

What can I teach you. I can teach you about photography. I can teach you something about fixing your home. I can talk your ear off about my country and other countries. I would not mind taking professional photo's of you an your family.

I can teach you how to do things around your house and show you how easy and cheap you can fix things on your own with out hiring someone.
