UPDATE 2026 After I moved to Mozambique in 2024, now my time there ended and I'm traveling around Africa while facilitating climate workshops for local communities. This way, I get to explore more of the continent on a budget, while combining my two passions: being a capacity-builder/trainer, and climate action. ABOUT ME I am a geographer, a learner, a language-enthusiast, a traveler, a proud Hufflepuff, a vegetarian, and a lover of chocolate, beer, tea and good music. I dance and I paint and love finding the nearest or biggest park wherever I go.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Studying, I was part of a large network of geography students throughout Europe. This gave me a sense of connection and an appetite for travel, meeting people from all cultures and backgrounds, and time and again discovering how in the end, we're all just humans. Since April 2023 I decided to try and branch outside of my comfort zone and, after recommendations of a friend, see if couchsurfing could be a new community for me where I find this same kind of connections where we can share our love for traveling, this world, and meeting and seeing more of it. So far, loving it! Had some really nice times being hosted, joining a local couch-surfing meet-up when traveling, and enjoyed some cool spontaneous adventures through the hang-outs.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read a lot, especially when traveling, so feel free to ask me about my last book! I often also bring books I mean to leave behind somewhere, so maybe we can do a book-exchange! Best books I ever red are Frankenstein from Mary Shelly and Das Parfum from Patrick Süskind.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I wrote my master thesis about sustainable avocado production in Colombia. Also went there for research for a month. Travelled by train to all corners of Europe (e.g. Malta, Estonia, South-Portugal, Croatia)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning languages, so if I don't speak yours yet, teach me something! And if I do speak your language, awesome! Then I'll love the opportunity to practice it and get to know you better!
What I Can Share With Hosts
stories, food, some Belgian beers if there's still left in my backpack, ...
My Interests
I travel Europe by train to disconnect and slow down in a very fast world. And it's also just more sustainable than taking planes everywhere. As a geographer, I am furthermore literally interested in anything. From geopolitics and eco-feminism to economics, pottery, community engagement, city planning or how airplane prices are too low. Ask me about the book I'm reading at the moment, or tell me about the books you'd recommend. Or let's
