Hi everyone,
My name is Ricarda, I am 22 years old and just about to finish my Bachelor degree in the wonderful city of Kiel in Northern Germany. In August I am going to start my Master studies in Stockholm, Sweden which I am really looking forward to.
Even though I am still quite young, I have already seen lots of places around the world and I am already planning my next trips.
This year, I will be going to New York in March and over to Iceland in July - we will see, what else comes up next.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of not only getting to know new places but also the people who live there. As I am still a student and I do not have much money, it is also an opportunity to go somewhere I couldn't afford to visit otherwise.

At the moment I am still living in a student dorm room where there's hardly enough space for myself - but one day, that will hopefully change and I will happily offer my couch to other great fellows from all over the world then, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 15 I spent seven months on a sailing vessel and went along Europe, over the Atlantic to the Caribbean and back again - within this time I discovered many new countries and places and met the most amazing people.
