About Me
I'm new to couchsurfing, but I've been travelling all my life, and have lived in Japan, China, Canada, and currently in Seattle, Washing in the US.
English is my best language, but I can converse in Japanese and Chinese as well.
Photography is one of my favorite things to do while travelling, whether its in the city or hiking a mountain in the countryside. Check out my travel photos on Instagram :)

Music is my other passion, from classical piano to jazz-funk and EDM.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of the best connections I've made were while I was travelling in remote parts of the world.
Unfortunately I can't be travelling 24/7/365 (I wish), but what I CAN do is keep meeting cool people while I'm at home!
I'm looking to host and meet up with cool travelers in Seattle, and maybe try finding a host the next time I travel!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy live music in small intimate venues. I've been to Coachella, Lollapalooze, Jazz Fest, Bumbershoot, and hopefully many more festivals in the future.
Sci-fi and fantasy is probably my favorite genre. Specifically The Wheel of Time series and Enders Game/Shadow series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a 45 minute boat ride through a cave in Laos to do a homestay in an incredibly remote village. I communicated with the hosts mostly through hand gestures, and a couple words I learned on the way. They caught an Iguana like it was nothing and cooked it up for lunch!
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy learning new recipes and cooking with local ingredients. I also really enjoy sharing music I love with people I meet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a really comfortable couch and a hammock in my 1 bedroom condo in a central part of Capitol Hill in Seattle near downtown. Its the best place for nightlife and there's great restaurants a block away.
Please be respectful with kitchen and food, but if you ask I'm pretty likely to share anything with you.
If you're adventurous I can take you on a motorcycle ride :)
