About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Brazilian by birth, American by choice, Trojan for life! A musician, coder, writer, scholar, east now west coast dreamer ready to see the world... Fight On!

ABOUT ME

I get excited about everything. I enjoy all the small things in life and try not to take anything for granted. Each day is a new opportunity to learn new things and little by little grow up to be the person I was meant to be. I'm a techie, blogger, musician and all things food/coffee. Definitely love to laugh and explore away!

PHILOSOPHY

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition." -Steve Jobs

Interests

I'm interested in seeing things I only typically have the chance to read about. My camera and I are best buds and I can't leave home without it, especially if I'm exploring my surroundings. Music drives me and has shaped me into the person I am today. I am blessed to be surrounded by an amazing family and friends, and each day I am amazed at their support, which got me through college (Computer Science) and now through a new chapter in my life... "the real life."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) When my parents moved to the United States from Brazil. We didn't know English nor the culture so the drastic change was challenging but showed me how much I liked learning and speaking different languages

2) Getting accepted to the University of Southern California (USC) was the greatest scholastic achievement of my life. The school is amazing and has given me a lot more than just an awesome education: I have the best friends and live in the best weather the West Coast can provide!

3) When my paper was picked to be published I was ecstatic. My first publication ever! It was definitely a really awesome feeling to see all my hard work being recognized. It has driven me to start a blog, which is going strong and deals with anything ranging from tech to music and business
